This year’s STKFest, themed “Vision of Mutual Transformation,” redefines the relationship between civil society and youth. Over 30 NGOs, 100 student clubs, and nearly 15,000 young participants will gather in Istanbul on October 22–23, 2025.

This year’s event takes place under the theme “Vision of Mutual Transformation,” redefining the relationship between civil society and youth.

A New Era in NGO–Youth Relations

TGTV Chairman Av. İsmail Tuğrul and IDSB Secretary General Eyüp Akbal stated in a joint declaration:

“STKFest is a reflection of a civil society vision that not only listens to young people but thinks and transforms with them. Our call is no longer ‘Join us,’ but ‘How can we grow together?’”

The main goal of STKFest is to build direct engagement between university students and NGOs, turning youth into partners in civil society transformation.

Core Message of STKFest

TGTV Chairman İsmail Tuğrul:

“STKFest is not an event where young people only listen — it’s where they speak, and civil society listens... We see youth not as passive audiences but as partners in civil transformation.”

IDSB Secretary General Eyüp Akbal:

“The strongest aspect of civil society is its spirit of volunteerism — and volunteerism is renewed through youth. This meeting is a new model where NGOs directly connect and build lasting bonds with young people.”
