Anadolu University held its Western Europe Programs Graduation Ceremony in Cologne, Germany. Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, Turkish Consul General Hüseyin Kantem Al, academics, graduates, and their families attended the event.
Anadolu University held its graduation ceremony in Cologne, Germany.
The event was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, his wife Oya Adıgüzel, and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serpil Koçdar, as well as Turkish Consul General in Cologne Hüseyin Kantem Al, education attachés, NGO representatives, members of the press, graduates, and their families.
The ceremony took place at the DİTİB Conference Hall and was celebrated with great enthusiasm.
In his opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel said:
“Looking at this hall today, I see a picture of determination, success, and pride...
We couldn’t celebrate a graduation in Cologne for four years, but seeing our graduates filling the hall today makes me very happy.
Welcome once again, and I sincerely congratulate you on your achievements.”
Turkish Consul General in Cologne Hüseyin Kantem Al stated:
“I am very pleased to be here today at the graduation ceremony organized by Anadolu University’s Open Education Faculty...
The Open Education system has allowed millions of people to achieve their dreams by overcoming time and geographical barriers.”
Several graduates also shared their feelings and reflections:
Hakan Yüksel: “I feel proud to have successfully completed my master’s degree.”
Rukiye Bilgili: “I congratulate all my fellow graduates sharing this excitement with me.”
Ayşe Sönmez: “For us women, this path was about preserving hope and perseverance.”
Hasan Türcan: “Our language is the strongest bridge connecting us to our roots.”
Fatma Şahin: “This journey was completed successfully with my family’s support.”
Kuyuldar Yılmaz: “Our presence here today is a symbol of patience, perseverance, and faith.”
Sabiha Çiçekli: “I extend my sincere gratitude to Anadolu University.”
Following the speeches, top-ranking graduates received their diplomas from Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serpil Koçdar, Consul General Hüseyin Kantem Al, and other officials.
The ceremony concluded with all graduates throwing their caps into the air in celebration.
