AFAD Announces Turkey’s Ongoing Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that 333 trucks of aid materials have been delivered to Gaza since July 27, 2025. On October 13, 17 trucks carrying food, 3 trucks with blankets, and tents are scheduled to cross into Gaza.

AFAD Announces Turkey’s Humanitarian Assistance to Gaza

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced that since July 27, 2025, a total of 333 trucks of aid materials have been delivered to Gaza, stating:

“On October 13, 2025, 17 trucks carrying food, 3 trucks with blankets, and tents belonging to our country are planned to cross into Gaza.”

In a statement posted on AFAD’s NSosyal account, it was emphasized that Turkey has not remained silent in the face of the atrocities in Gaza and that humanitarian relief efforts in the region continue under AFAD’s coordination with the participation of all relevant institutions, organizations, and NGOs.

AFAD reported that since October 7, 2023, a total of 101,725 tons of humanitarian aid materials have been delivered to Gaza via 16 ships and 14 aircraft, and added:

“Within this scope, since July 27, 2025, 333 trucks of aid supplies have entered Gaza.
Following the ceasefire reached in Gaza on October 8, 2025, humanitarian aid operations have accelerated.
In this context, 100 trucks of supplies, including the humanitarian aid coordinated by AFAD, the Turkish Red Crescent, and other Turkish NGOs, have been transported from Egypt’s El Arish city to the Karem Abu Salem border gate in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent.

On October 13, 2025, it is planned that 17 food trucks, 3 trucks of blankets, and tents from our country will also cross into Gaza.
