It provides qualified and effective training solutions for the development and institutionalization of individuals and CSO’s.
The Civil Society Development Academy is tasked with developing and implementing training programs at both basic and specialized levels to enhance the institutional capacity of CSO’s and contribute to the development of professional and volunteer individuals in the sector. Through the training programs and books prepared by experts in the field, the Academy aims to improve the activities and management processes of CSO’s, helping them deliver high-quality products and services to their target groups.
To achieve its mission, the Civil Society Development Academy values the cooperation of academics, field experts, field workers, and all relevant individuals and institutions. Prior to the training, needs analyses are conducted with the CSO Meter Coordination, taking into account civil society norms. Training programs are then created based on the data obtained. The training can be conducted both in-person and online, depending on the requested time. In-person sessions can be held at STMÜ's training facilities or at alternative locations suggested by participants, while online training takes place on STMÜ's digital training platforms. Based on comprehensive research in the field of civil society, curricula are defined using books prepared in 44 modules across 14 areas. These books are used as source materials during training, both in printed and digital formats.
